The instructions for check in were spot on. The part about the stairs is true- and narrow. Not a problem for us- but be thoughtful if you cannot do stairs. The place was spotless and so very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked. We did not use the stove- but the coffee and hot water pot came in super handy. The decor was beautiful- and also really comfortable! Not always a guarantee! We enjoyed the living space. Open and airy. The beds and bedding were amazing. It was too easy to sleep in! The neighborhood was very quiet. We REALLY enjoyed the shared patio out front. The furniture was super comfortable. And just nice to be outside. While sitting out there we met the hosts- very friendly and the black cat, Night, who hung out with us quite a bit. We walked to so many things. Being close to the metro was a big plus. Overall- this was a great stay. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Jayme was amazing and this place is perfect for a small group or family to stay with two bedrooms and a great couch. I loved the bathroom and the kitchen has all you could need. Jaymi was an excellent host. The historic structure does have thin walls so sound easily crept into Other floors, but my guests and I were able to enjoy our stay, the Location, the listed amenities, and a peaceful place for the weekend. Jaymi was also super helpful with recovering items that I left behind with kindness, understanding and flexibility. I'd absolutely book this space again for out-of-town guests, but also even a staycation!!!

We had a very nice stay at Jaymi’s Airbnb. The location was perfect for getting around - walkable distances to the Nelson and Kemper area, short walk to the street car, and an easy drive to downtown or even NKC. We enjoyed the historical building and decor, didn’t have any issue with noise from neighbors. Ordinary floor sounds from above, but otherwise no noise at all. One bedroom had room darkening curtains but the other did not so the room was bright quite early. The bedding and beds were normal (though not premium as mentioned in the listing). It could use a few extra power strips or extension cords for lamps and phone chargers by the beds. Jaymi was the most helpful, thoughtful and friendly host I’ve ever had on Airbnb and her tips were wonderful!

We had such a wonderful stay with Jaymi! 🥰 She was an amazing host and made us feel so welcomed from the very beginning. Her hospitality and thoughtful touches really made the stay special. The Airbnb itself was adorable, with such cute decor and a cozy, welcoming feel. The beds were super comfortable, the hot water was perfect after a long day, and everything we needed was right there. The location was also fantastic—close to downtown and only about 15 minutes from Kauffman Stadium, which was perfect for our trip! Highly recommend! We were in town for the World Cup, and the location could not have been better. All the little touches in this apartment gives it a great vibe and we really enjoyed spending time there, not just sleeping there. Located in a good neighborhood with easy parking. The amenities provided were on point, beds comfortable, everything is clean and the kitchen is well stocked. It's in a historic home offering tons of boho charm, but it also means the staircases are narrow and the walls are relatively thin. If hearing some laughter echoing from another unit or some thumps from loud walkers above you really sticks in your craw, then this may not be the place for you.

While we appreciated that the property is a period property, the creaks in the flooring, stairs and the doors was to be considered if up late/early for others that were staying elsewhere in the other apartments within the property, and similarly we could hear the person upstairs walking around. We absolutely love staying this property for our annual girls' weekend! It was conveniently located near everything we wanted to do. There was a large off the street parking area in a safe neighborhood. Super super cute! The decor was really fun and inviting: touches of modern with shabby. Beds and bedding were comfy and soft. We did not use the kitchen for cooking, but it seemed to be well stocked with supplies and some basic ingredients. Jaymi was friendly and helpful before and during our stay. Location seemed safe (residential; a school park across the street). The (unavoidable) noise from other people in the building - voices, footsteps, tv. To be clear, the listing said to expect this and this isn't anyone's fault. No one was being especially loud or obnoxious; it just is this way in an old home converted into multiple units. I'm only reporting it here - if you are sensitive to noises from other guests and/or wake up easily from external noises, then you may not like this unit. Again, no one is at fault; it's just a warning.

The location was perfect for getting to Arrowhead stadium. We were able to get to the stadium without having to get on the interstate. The host was awesome. Incredibly easy check-in and very prompt communication. I didn't think the bed was very comfortable, but that is subjective. Because of the age of the building, you can hear other people entering and exiting the property, however the property managers makes sure that everyone follows the quiet hours, somewhat mitigating the noise.

No words, none at all could sum up this sweet lil place. Yes, there’s stairs- she mentions that all over her description. She was so thorough with information on how to get to your space and left nothing unturned! The min you opened your blue door; its like you shifted and stepped into a diff era. Every frame, flower vase, decor etc was placed intentionally. The color scheme was not your typical! it was not boring! Every room had a diff elegance to it. Living space was tooo cute! So much thought went to this place and every piece was a compliment to the overall atmosphere! If you want cozy, elite, fun, grand, luxury—- then BOOOK THIS SPOT! Jayme’s beautiful place felt like home away from home. The high ceilings, bright luminosity and spacious kitchen were the high points for me. I really appreciated a well-equipped kitchen (even a full size Ninja blender!) The apartment felt peaceful and cheerful. Jaymi went the extra mile for us — we were in a pinch coming from another airbnb where the A/C broke (outdoor temps in the 90s) and Jaymi worked extra hard to let us check-in early — much appreciated! especially since guests had vacated that morning. She also has a gorgeous 2-bedroom apartment upstairs in the same building. We look forward to returning.

This was my second stay with Jaymi and I'm sure I'll be back when visiting KC. The space is comfortable, clean, and bright. It really feels like staying in your own shabby-chic apartment and the location is perfect for getting to lots of KC destinations. Add in blooming lilacs in the spring and front-porch cats to pet and it was the perfect place to stay for our concert at the Uptown.

It’s been a bit since we’ve stayed at an Airbnb, but our experience for the most part was pleasant and enjoyable. Jaymi is incredibly responsive and detailed in her communication. In retrospect, we’d read the description and looked at pictures—all accurate and beautiful—but we didn’t read the reviews. Jaymi’s description was accurate and well deserving of her star rating, but the reviews tell more about the load HVAC and thinness of the walls in this 120+ year old home. We could hear the neighbor’s binging on movies (heard the MGM lion’s roar a few times) and Parks & Rec (as we hummed to the very familiar theme song a few times) and upstairs neighbors conversations. So when she warns of quiet hours and old home, she means it. It made us a little on edge as you don’t want to be the one disturbing everyone else. I also loved Jaymi’s thorough recommendations, some I’d been to before and enjoyed. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, the kitchen, cleanliness, and everything Jaymi provided!

Wir waren zu viert in der Unterkunft. Schon beim Betreten ist uns aufgefallen, dass die Unterkunft sehr altmodisch eingerichtet ist, was dem Baujahr des Hauses entspricht. Leider war die Unterkunft doch schon etwas sehr veraltet und man konnte vom Mieter drüber jeden Schritt und Gespräche mithören. Die Lüftung hat ebenfalls seinen Teil dazu beigetragen und war sehr laut. Weiterhin konnten wir sowohl im Bad, als auch auf Decken im Schlafzimmer Haare feststellen, was zu unserem Unmut geführt hat.

Great location! Jaymi’s place was close to all the restaurants, bars, and shopping we wanted to do in KC. There also happened to be a Starbucks a short walk away which was nice for morning coffee. It was ultra clean and had comfy beds and couch. Easy parking situation and felt safe. It’s an older building which makes for cool interior and exterior but the walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors. It was no big deal for us but if you’re not used to older buildings you should be aware. Would def recommend and would def stay again!

Jaymi’s place was cool. Great location and quiet area. The quiet time was a little different but it was understandable because of the historic building and thin walls. We had a great weekend stay at Jaymi's lovely apartment. The neighborhood is beautiful and the apartment is a short walk to the art museum. My daughter lives a few blocks away in the same neighborhood and the location of the apartment was perfect. Beds were comfortable and the shower was strong and hot. It was spotlessly clean. Pros of this apartment: Great communication, comfortable furniture, nice blankets and towels, well-equipped kitchen, clean, plenty of parking, cute and creative décor with a mix of old and new. Features that have been remodeled are very nicely done. Guests should know: - As the host wrote in part of our welcome note: “The 100yr old walls & floors don't hold in noise well.” We often heard people moving around elsewhere in the building during our stay (which bothered us at night) and worried about whether we were being too noisy, since the floors are quite old and squeaky (one loose board). - There are bright lights outside near the larger bedroom (even through the shade) so bring a sleep mask if this would bother you at night.

This was a really fun Airbnb to stay at due to the antique nature of the house. However, be warned that the floors are very creaky and the walls are super thin. We could hear neighbors downstairs talking late into the night, even though it did not bother us. The kitchen was really nice and very well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. Overall a very nice stay close to the KC plaza!

Jaymi’s place is great! Overall 5 stars. Only small complaint is that because the house is so old, you can hear the neighbors walking around. No big deal unless it’s during sleep times. Just knowing that you will hear others is helpful. The location is great. Close to some nice restaurants and coffee shops. Short drive to the museum. And Jaymi took great care of us. We booked this for a quick girls' weekend and have no regrets! Good location within 15 minutes of many things to do, off street parking, and the unit was easy to find and filled with natural light. It is located in a historic home so there are sometimes quirks that come with that like squeaky floors, but everything was clearly described in the listing beforehand and we didn't have any issues. Jaymi was a great host and we would definitely stay here again - it was a beautiful space! Also highly recommend Post Coffee Company for a caffeine boost and Succotash for breakfast - both only about 10 minutes away!

The home is decorated in a wonderful mix of styles and is set up in a manner that is quite comfortable. The home is older, so expect the charm of a few squeaky floorboards. This was my second ~3 week stay at Jaymi’s, and it felt like coming home. Her place is so charming and comfortable with all the amenities I needed to cook a lot and relax with my son in the space. The bedding is super comfy and ample, there were plenty of towels, the kitchen has all the essentials. The washer and dryer in the basement were also super handy for our longer stay. The parking was easy right by the house, and I love love love the location as we had easy access to the plaza (I could walk to my morning yoga classes on the plaza), midtown, crossroads, and downtown. Jaymi has always been incredibly responsive and helpful for all of my questions. I can’t recommend her place highly enough.

The apartment was beautifully decorated. It had a wonderfully modern decor in a historic building. Every room was spacious and functional and would be a wonderful place to host a small but chic bachelorette party, wedding or baby shower if visiting from out of town. If stairs are an issue for guests, it’s worth noting that the steps to the apartment are steep but easily doable for most. During the day you could hear the tenants in the above apartments. Nothing obnoxious and to be expected it an older building. The area felt self and the private parking was a plus. It was a wonderful stay and I look forward to returning.

Jaymi’s place is Amazing! My little French bulldog and I were in KC for about 3 weeks for work and this could not have been a more comfortable stay. KC had quite a cold front of weather so we took advantage of the coziness of the space every night. I would happily stay here again. The location of the apartment is in a very cute area near shopping centers and parks. As far as the apartment itself was cute but definitely had some issues. It is much smaller than what it looks in the photos. There was major water damage to the entry way floor causing some serious warping which is a huge mobility hazard. The walls are very thin so all sound is heard throughout the space. The floor is also incredibly loud and squeaky. The plumbing in the bathroom was so bad we had to plunge the toilet almost every time after use (even without toilet paper). The living room ceiling also seems to have some water damage. The paint has fallen off all over it and water spots/possible mold are all over. It made the space feel unclean. I have stayed in much nicer Airbnb’s that were not “Plus” for a much lower cost.

This was a nice stay, but given that it was a "plus" listing, I definitely expected more. Below are my pros and cons: Pros: Jaymi was really nice to work with, and very timely in her responses. The place was super clean, which was delightful. The location was wonderful - very close to downtown. Parking was easy. The decor was cute and stylish, and the bathroom was very nice. Cons: I would mainly say it was just not what I was expecting. Again, given the "Plus" status, I just expected above and beyond, but it was pretty average. Nice, but average. For one thing, I was expecting a more modern building structure, but it was a very old building, which would have been charming except for the fact that there was no privacy whatsoever in terms of sound. We were two couples who stayed, and you could literally hear every single noise when someone was in the bathroom, or a bedroom, or whatever. The beds were also rather springy. The bedclothes as well had tears and stains in them, which just didn't help. The kitchen was not well stocked; there were not a great selection of complete pots and pans, there was no microwave or potholders, and there was no clean dish sponge, so we had to use one that was dirty under the sink. There was also a broken wine glass when we arrived. It just didn't feel like the place was looked over between one person and the next for completeness. Again, this place was nice and had a lot of great qualities. It just didn't feel like a Plus place though, so if you are looking for some place really swank (and some place with privacy), I would look elsewhere.

If you love places with character, you will love this one! The style looks like a magazine but you feel totally at home. We enjoyed our stay - wish it has been for more than one night! Do note that there is a unit above you so you'll hear some noises but nothing that disrupts anything.

This was the perfect spot for a getaway weekend! Two couples stayed, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The dining and living room were cozy and comfortable - perfect for late night conversations. Jaymi made check-in and check-out a breeze, and the free parking in the lot next to the house was an added bonus. Can't recommend this place enough and would totally stay again!

Excellent location right by Westport and Q39 which we went to several times yummy!!! It was clean and safe and loved the style. The temperature was comfortable and the beds were good enough. It was such a huge blessing that they are ok with bringing our doggy. Only cons were that there was not a microwave and the pans were not in great shape. It was still an oasis in the city and we will likely stay here again if/when we are back in KC.

Great apartment centrally located to everything! The place was clean, comfortable and had fun decor! One of the bedrooms had blackout curtains which was great for our toddler’s afternoon nap! The only thing to note for families with young children is that there is no tub, just a shower. Not a big deal for our weekend stay. Jaymi was very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay at Jaymi’s place! The decor is super cute and the apartment is way more spacious than it looks in the pictures. Both bedrooms are quite sizable and the kitchen is so roomy and full of new appliances. A couple things to note—if you have trouble with stairs, this is not the place for you. You have to go up a flight to get to the apartment, and the stairwell is fairly small (which makes sense given the age of the house). Also, if you are a light sleeper, just know that because this is a historic property, you can hear the people above you walking around. This didn’t bother us, but I could see how that might be a problem for others. Overall, though—10000% recommend this place. And make sure to take a shower! The shower head/water pressure was amazing!!

This apartment was great! It is super cute and bigger than it looks in pictures. We loved how close it was to multiple coffee shops and restaurants. Jaymi was a great host and made multiple accommodations for us and our pets. The only thing I would point out that wasn’t an issue for us but could be an issue for others was the staircase was fairly narrow and somewhat steep. Otherwise, I think it’s a great stay for anyone. We loved the water pressure in the shower and parking was easy and spacious :) Thanks Jaymi!

We absolutely loved staying at Jaymi’s. It was our first time in KC and the location was perfect. We could walk to the Westport area which was full of bars, restaurants and shops. Every other neighborhood we went to was just a quick drive away. The apartment is beautifully decorated and was very clean. We loved all of the little design details that made the place special. We will definitely stay here our next trip to KC

This was a stunning home. The pictures don't do it justice. Our first few hours were spent admiring the living room from the comfy couch. The location is also fantastic, a few minutes from the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and the contemporary art museum. Also, 250Mbps internet was exactly what we needed for our WFH journey.

We enjoyed our stay at Jaymi's very much. We stayed in the middle of a polar vortex, so the heater struggle to catch up, but that would probably be the case anywhere! The couch was cozy and the tv had all the streaming apps available to us. The bed with the mattress topper should go to single people or couples who like to cuddle because it was impossible to not roll to the middle like a taco. No complaints here! Just an observation. The water pressure in the shower is AMAZING. It really puts my shower at home to shame.

First time in Kansas City on a cross country road trip and this place was perfect. very convenient to park and check in. Had everything that we needed and much more. This is a GREAT stay! It’s a convenient central location, and so much thought went into creating a charming space that feels homey from the moment you walk in. We were traveling with our yellow lab, and even she was more relaxed in the new environment than usual. Jaymie’s apartment is a great location, walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. It is on the second floor of an old house. The neighborhood is quiet but the adjacent apartments in the house are not! One could hear conversations in the apartment next door and noise from the third floor apartment. Luckily I brought earplugs so I could sleep. The apartment was very clean and had a reasonably stocked kitchen. A microwave would have been helpful. I would stay in this apartment again.

Jaymi's place provided a nice basecamp while working remotely and visiting family in Kansas City. It was very clean and the kitchen is well equipped with essentials for cooking at home, plus the internet worked well even with two people working all day on it. Great location with Westport, the Plaza and the Nelson Atkins all walking distance from the property. One note for future travelers: this is a second floor apartment that is accessed via a narrow stairway which is not super clear from the listing. Not a huge deal, but could be problematic with a lot of luggage or if you have certain mobility needs.

I truly enjoyed my stay! I was there for a month. Jaymi is very responsive and extremely nice. The best part of the apartment is the kitchen, it has everything you need! The place is very cozy. The two things that we find need upgrade are the beds and the closets. If you’re only staying for a few nights they’re okay but not for long term stays. The location is awesome, close to everything. I loved walking my dog around the neighborhood. I highly recommend it!

Loved Jaymi's artistic and stylish apartment for my stay in KC! The living room / velvet couch immediately caught my eye. The cookware (All Clad!) was top notch, and the kitchen had everything I needed to enjoy cooking away from home. The beds are really comfortable (1 had a plush mattress topper, the other bed is more firm if that's your style). The shower pressure and temperature was perfect! Some reviews warned that you might hear other tenants above/below which is expected in an older home. I brought earplugs and a sleep mask and had no issue with interruption...good essentials anywhere! The apartment is SO close to some great coffee shops, a delicious seafood boil, and other great restaurants, and I appreciated the big parking lot. Ample natural light, good WIFI!

I really liked this place and Jaymi is a great host! Very responsive and friendly - accommodated our request for a late checkout which was very much appreciated! The apartment is anything but boring - very eclectic decor and a nice open layout. There were 4 of us staying there but the rooms were separated enough to give us our own space when we needed it. Overall it was very clean and comfortable. Comfy bed. Awesome water pressure in the shower. Water in the fridge upon arrival. Coffee in the cupboard. There were just a couple things that made me go “hmm..?”...not deal breakers but just made me wander why they were like that. Examples: the shower doors are hung backward (which made it weird getting in and out), and there are some empty photo frames hanging up with the weird stock photos in them still. Just didn’t make sense with all the detail that went into other parts of the apartment. I would recommend staying here.

We had a girlfriend weekend getaway and the stay at Jaymi's place made it comfortable and stress-free. I love old houses and the apt was decorated cute in shabby chic with a lot of natural sunlight. There was plenty of comfortable furniture in all the rooms which made it cozy to lounge with a glass of wine. The neighborhood felt safe and we were located in close proximity to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. I was so impressed with the design and amenities of Jaymi's place - it was like my every need was thought of in advance. I came here as a solo traveler visiting the KC area for the very first time (for business purposes), and could not have felt more pampered in this quiet, residential neighborhood as a guest in Jaymi's apartment! The fun Westport area is just a quick, pleasant half-mile walk away, but also is the perfect distance afar to retain the peaceful atmosphere in the surrounding blocks. I noticed that another guest left an especially nasty review, and I'm frankly not sure what that person could have been imagining to have allegedly experienced what they claimed. The upstairs unit is not silent, as is customary in most multi-family residential buildings (particularly those built before a certain time, which tend to come with built-in charm, like Jaymi's!). I found both beds pleasantly soft and slept very well, especially in the bedroom right off the living room -- I would actually love to know what kind of dreamy mattress or mattress pad Jaymi put on that bed! My only regret was that I didn't get to spend longer than two nights in this lovely apartment in Kansas City. Hopefully I can come back soon!

Jaymi's place is lovely! The furniture and decor is super cute. The kitchen is spacious and great for cooking a meal with friends or just putting out boxes of pizza to share! The beds are literally like laying on marshmallows. They are so soft and comfy! The locks stick a little (being an old home and all) so just be patient and wiggle it around a bit. It will pop open eventually! If you have any kind of mobility issue or are carrying anything super heavy this may not be the best spot for you as it requires you to climb stairs! The parking lot on the side is a nice bonus especially so you don't have to park on the street :)

Unfortunately I cannot recommend staying at Jaymi’s place. Two deal breakers for me: the beds and the noise from the upstairs unit which is also an Airbnb listing of Jaymi’s (3 total in this old house). First the beds - the mattresses are cheap and it’s time to replace both of them. The one we slept in sagged and offered no support (“soft” could be a euphemism I guess). My wife and I laughed at how absolutely absurd it was to get out of the bed as we contorted and rolled ourselves out of bed each morning (stayed 3 nights). The other bed was very creaky and squeaky. It is time to replace the mattresses and upgrade the bedding. As for the noise coming from the upstairs Airbnb unit, it was an unwelcome surprise on our second and third nights. The noise was not because the guests were loud, on the contrary they were just going about their business. However, each step they took was noticeable due to the very creaky floors in this old house. If you don’t get up at 5 am you likely will be woken up by the footfalls on the floorboards. Since we were on the second floor I’m sure the 6 bros who rented out the main level of this house (also an Airbnb) had the same experience when we walked around our shabby chic unit. The decor is lovely and Jaymi has a great way of displaying found and mismatched items together for a cohesive, eclectic look that truly feels like an artist’s big city apartment on a budget. Well done! The trendy kitchen has been completely updated and is well stocked for any need. Everything worked well. The bathroom too was remodeled but not to the same standard as the kitchen. The toilet should be replaced and the shower doors and shower head could as well. That being said, the hot water was plentiful and welcoming after our touristy days in KC. The air conditioning did a very good job keeping the steamy summer heat at bay. The location is ok for walkability but superb if you have a car. The immediate neighborhood - Midtown/Westport- is a bit sketchy, but we never felt unsafe. The neighborhood is equidistant from the upscale Plaza luxury shops ($$$$ chains) and the more interesting and fun neighborhoods to the north (Crossroads/Power ad Light/downtown/Bottoms/riverfront). Check out Messenger Coffee - it’s worth the stop. Overall Jaymi is doing a good job with her listing, but to get to a 5 star experience will take some investment in new beds and thinking about how to address the irritating quirks of an old house without sacrificing all that great history and charm.

Was immaculately clean, the two bedrooms were very large and the bed was super comfortable! Spacious kitchen and cozy living room. The biggest thing for me was I booked last minute with only hours before and the apartment was fully ready, host sent the code to get in and was responsive when I had trouble with the door. Was amazing place especially with such short notice.

Host was responsive and helpful. We were missing kitchen towels and she had some delivered within a few hours. Excellent location; easy walk to art museums. Spacious with great light on three sides, a well-equipped kitchen, and a nice shower. Unit is part of a converted single-family house that has a lot of deferred maintenance. We could hear tenants in other units; it was very noisy at times. Unit was clean overall but some places had been missed.

You won’t be disappointed if you stay here! Honestly one of my favorite Airbnb’s. The styling of the house is great for any occasion & location was so perfect. The rooms are great size & feel airy. The host also responds in a timely matter. If your thinking of staying here just go ahead and book because it’s probably one of the best Airbnbs you can stay at, for the price, in KC.

Stylish place in a great location! It’s close to the Plaza and Westport. After being out all day, it’s a super comfy place to come back to. It’s comfortable, clean, and has great natural lighting; it lives up to the pictures. I would absolutely stay again!

This is the third or fourth time I have stayed at Jaymi's - there is no better place to stay in all of KC. The space itself is wonderful - spacious, clean, so well decorated. The location is about a mile from the Nelson- Atkins and the Plaza area. Jaymi is super responsive. It is always my choice of a place to stay in KC when it is available.

This may be the most gorgeous AirBnB I’ve stayed in!! Close to the Plaza and Westport, not far from Crossroads. Stairs are pretty narrow so I don’t suggest bulky, heavy luggage!

Jaymi's place was exactly like the pictures! It's a close walking distance to museums, local shops, and a great coffee spot. I felt safe walking around the area. Jaymi was a great host and answered all my questions quickly. There's also lots of parking for those who need it.

The apartment was very clean and stylishly decorated, we really enjoyed the well appointed kitchen and all of the eclectic touches in the apartment, it was very cozy and spacious at the same time. The apartment is on the second floor, so carrying the luggage up two flights of narrow steps was not the best. I also was a bit disappointed in the mattresses in both bedrooms; one was rock hard and the other had a piece of cheap foam on the top which made the bed hot and super squishy, my boyfriend and I kept rolling into each other during the night because you sunk so low in the bed, it was actually very funny! Overall, the apartment was great and fit our needs. Jaymi is very communicative and responded quickly to any questions and was a great host. We would recommend her home to others, and will probably stay again if it is available.

Our stay at Jaymi’s Place was excellent! It’s beautifully decorated, the beds were super comfy, and it’s so close to everything. Great parking options, too. The shower is dreamy. And I ADORE the sofa. We were able to walk to the Art Museum, take a 5 minute car ride to Union Station and see that, went to the Science Center there, then over to Sea Life and Legoland at the Crown Center, and take the Streetcar up to the River Market area where we got amazing food and fun shopping. We drove down the street to Whole Foods and stocked up on snacks for the breaks we enjoyed throughout the day back at the apartment. During our stay we enjoyed three amazing breakfast spots: Happy Gillis in Columbus Park, and The Corner and First Watch, both in Westport. These are MUST TRY breakfast places! We loved coffee at Quay in River Market, and indulged in some amazing ice cream at Betty Rae’s, also in the Market. It was so centrally located that we could do and enjoy whatever we wanted. The apartment was a perfect reprieve from all of our touristy activities.

Jaymi's place was such a treat, not just for myself, but also my service dog. Not only did it have everything you could ever need to be comfortable (fluffy blankets, fresh linens, high quality cooking utensils, central ac & heat, great water pressure with endless hot water etc) in addition, the space is just gorgeous! She really did a stellar job creating the perfect mix of high style and plush comfort. This is a small building as well. so as far as apartments in a city go, it was surprisingly peaceful. So glad we chose to stay at Jaymi's place instead of a bland, soul-less hotel room. Hope to visit again next time we are in town! ♡♡♡

The space is wonderful and cozy. Everything was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and it definitely felt like a home, something I value when traveling for business and need to decompress after a long day. Jaymi was very quick to respond when I had questions and had left details for local bars and restaurants that were delicious. The neighborhood and street is quiet and felt safe and was easily accessible to busier spots in the city. Best Airbnb experience I’ve had yet!

Adorable and cozy space. We used this for a weekend “retreat” to do some planning for a national event that we host and the space was great for four of us to gather and be productive (only one of us stayed overnight, though). The beds are comfy and we appreciated the details...especially all the candles! Good communication and great location. I’m local and this is so close to all of the great restaurants and amenities our city has to offer. Would be a great home base if you’re visiting from out of town!

Jaymi's place is fantastically decorated! A great location and a fair value with close proximity to parks, museums, and restaurants. A great place for a short stay. A good quality firm mattress in the first bedroom and a foam topper in the second. The stairs are manageable and the street is relatively quiet. The upstairs neighbors are heard infrequently. The apartment is cozy with a full kitchen and adequate pans and pots for making meals if needed. Bring your own toiletries, sugar, and spices, and this is a good option for an extended stay!

Overall we had a fantastic time in KC!!! This place is the cutest; we loved the look, feel and location. You can get anywhere with in 5-10 minutes if you have a car. If not, walk (in good weather) or Uber for super cheap. We arrived in the pitch dark but luckily the lot has a bright light so you can see what you’re doing and feel safe. Q39, a really close BBQ joint is a must try!! The bed in the room to the left was unbelievable!!! We would stay again.
