Jaymi was a joy! The apartment is classic 1910-20s Kansas City style with modern finishes. Big bathroom, small but well stocked kitchen, and comfy bed. The apartment is on a slant but that’s normal for older KC apartments. Overall, would love to stay again next year!

Pros: windows that open, water that is hot, a real bathtub, everything works, safe place to park car, above average neighborhood, printer on wheels with paper supplied. Jaymi is delightful and helpful and allowed me in with same day booking. Cons: blackout blinds allow light through and they cover only half the windows so impossible to achieve darkness in bedroom with current set-up. Floor is very slanted in bedroom typical of old house settling which means your head will be higher than your feet unless you sleep with head at foot of bed which I did. Would book again if I can bring blackouts for all four windows.

i was in town to spend some time with friends we needed some adult time, we had a great weekend and would definitely be back, the host are always helpful and understanding and very friendly, in fact i text so much with Jaymi i feel like we are fiends we definitely are from the same era…. anyway the Bnb is very cute and location is awesome and you should definitely check it out, the surrounding area is amazing and the bnb is absolutely a must see i loved sitting on the upstairs deck picking my guitar 🎸 the yard is shady and lots of places to hang i will be back if they will have me lol thanks Jaymi I’d love to grab a drink, after our back and forth on text i rally enjoy your wit Gen Xer’s are making a comeback LOL Until we text again I’ll keep working on not laughing as loud and stay’n up till 3am playing my favorite Hippie infused bluegrass Country Music The Friend you never knew you needed Dusty Ray and Bradly Cooper the Hound

First off: Jaymi is an AWESOME host. Just awesome. Her place is in a solid location (walkable to Westport, the Atkins) and it's a cute, quiet place. There's even a very chill black cat that lives in the unit below. We said hi to each other every morning! It is in an older building, so there are some quirks in the living room and bedroom, plus the exterior stairs are bit bouncy/wobbly (the kitchen and bathroom have been fully redone). Nothing major, just worth noting.

Such a cute spot for a nice peaceful night in! Super cute decor, felt very homey and comfortable, very kind and responsive host. Answered within minutes when we needed something. Overall very lovely stay would recommend if you’re looking for a cute little getaway in a cozy neighborhood.

Really enjoyed my stay! Great central location and easy to get around the city. Especially since it was nice and close to free public transit and ample safe parking at Jaymie’s. The space was clean and nicely decorated. Was surprised by the amount you could hear from the unit next door (only in the living room), but was told about that in the house rules. Would still recommend just made me more aware of the noise I could be making walking around or if I was working later into the evening.

This was a great place to stay; it's within walking distance of many restaurants and bars, right in the heart of KC. Jaymi was a very responsive host and was flexible with check-in and check-out times, and even offered a discounted rate if I wanted to stay an extra day. She was a super host. I do want to mention that this place is a bit old, so the floor creaks a little and the floor is a bit slanted in the bedroom. But these are minor things. Finding the unit was easy, and getting in was simple as well. 4.5/5

The place was very nice with only like a 5 minute walk to the streetcar station of Westport. Which goes to the fan festival, union station, downtown, and city/ river market.

My partner and I loved staying at Jaymi's place. The location was great, the apartment was quiet and private, the bed was very comfortable, and we loved spending time on the porch. The neighborhood is in the middle of the city and close to everything, but we didn't experience any issues with traffic noise, sirens, etc. The Nelson-Atkins and Kemper museums, the Country Club Plaza, and Westport are all within an easy walk. Will stay here again!

My daughter and I rented the unit and were very happy! Convenient parking and check-in. Lovely decor and clean, with fresh linens and towels. Comfy interior, clean bath and access to a washer and dryer if needed. Flexible checkin very much appreciated. Host is very responsive and friendly, with great recommendations for places to visit or eat while in town. Would stay here again.

A lovely space to run away from NYC to. Was hoping to get some writing done and Jaymis place provided everything. Peace and quiet, a designated workspace. Not too far from restaurants. Jaymi is a very proactive host and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed!

This apartment is well located. I really liked that it was pet-friendly, and the surroundings are perfect for walking and exploring Kansas City. It’s very close to downtown. The only issue I had was that the bedroom floor squeaky a lot. But overall, everything was great. I would definitely choose it again.

Very comfortable stay! The area was quiet and safe, but close to lots of KC activities. There were great amenities, some I didnt utilize due to the short stay, but it had a full kitchen and laundry. The layout was very relaxing. The bed was comfortable and had clean hotel quality linens. Clean and comfortable furniture. Lots of room to spread out and feel at home. The shower had good water and pressure. I will definitely stay here again when im in the area!

Jaymi was super responsive and great to work with! The apartment was small and cute with old charm, with the only charm came some creaky floorboards but that is to be expected. The kitchen was the best stocked I’ve seen in an Airbnb with all the essentials and good quality pots and pans. I also loved that Jaymi did not make us do a huge checkout list like some airbnbs do, we simply had to wash our dishes and we were good to go :)

We were traveling to the area for work, so we didn't spend much time exploring the area a or relaxing in the rental. But, this rental is cute and full of quirky historic charm. the bed and pillows are comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with basic necessities. There are a few stairs to get to the unit.
